a '95 Elementary graduate and a '99 HS graduate is engaged to be married to Akiyomi Fields of Brooklyn NY. The couple became engaged on February 10, 2007. A May 2008 wedding in Staten Island is being planned.
Simone works as a special education teacher for the NYC Department of Education. Akiyomi is a fourth year medical student in the process of completing his clinical rotations at Brooklyn Hospital.
has recently been elected Vice President of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Rosemarie has previously served on the Society's Board of Directors and as chair of its Audit Committee. She has also served on various other committees, such as the Finance Committee, Nominating Committee, Annual Conference Committee, Legislation Committee, and the Task Force on Chapters. Rosemarie has been an active member of the Staten Island Chapter of the NYSSCPAs for over 20 years, and is past president of the Chapter.
Rosemarie and her husband Steve still live just blocks away from where they both grew up on Staten Island. Their son Scott is a freshman at Staten Island Technical High School (2007 - 2008).
Rosanne is still busy after all these years. Rosanne is a healthcare consultant, working with both domestic and international health care organizations to improve quality and patient safety. It’s been a great opportunity to interact with many other cultures and to share good practices.
However, Rosanne’s favorite time is that spent with her extended family, her three children (Andrew, Christine (NDA Class of 1985), Jonathan), and four grandchildren.
Christine lives in Massachusetts with her husband Richard and their two sons, Aidan (6) and Ethan (4). Christine and her husband recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with a bicycling trip to Provence, France.
Christine serves as a hospital Vice President and general Counsel in Concord, Massachusetts.
