Annual Fund - Ensuring a culture of excellence
Focusing resources and attention on developmental issues of today's girls and young women, preparing students for global citizenship and leadership, and preserving the charm and architectural integrity of the original spaces are our priorities. Funds raised will be used to improve and optimize the learning environment of the entire campus.
Why should you contribute to the Annual Fund? You already pay tuition, so you have done your part. Right?
Not really. The truth is that your daughter attends NDA with financial aid provided through NDA's Annual Fund since what you pay in tuition does not cover the cost of educating your daughter. Each student is receiving more than $2,000 in subsidy from the Annual Fund.
It may be, however, that God has blessed you with the financial resources so that you do not need that full financial aid or you might need only part of it. To make a gift to the Annual Fund according to your ability helps to bridge the gap. Remember, a donation to the Annual Fund is tax-deductible; tuition is not.
Another critical dimension to the Annual Fund is that foundations often require information regarding the participation rate, the percentage of alumnae, faculty, trustees and, very importantly, parents who are donors. We need 100% support from our parent community. Your gift, regardless of the amount, provides NDA with valuable leverage to obtain other gifts.
