Objectives of the Campaign
The scope of the Expansion for Excellence Campaign encompasses the entire spectrum of:
- Spiritual growth
- Academic operations
- Physical facilities
- Scholarship
- Faculty support
- Endowment growth
The strategic physical expansion plan has three phases. Phase one has already been completed, while Phase Two is currently in progress. Plans for the third phase of our expansion are proposed and set.
Phase One: (accomplished)
- The renovation of the Science and Math wing of the High School, and the Science Lab in the Elementary School
- The redesign, renovation and refurbishment of the Visitation Center (formerly the Mary Lodge) and the Cottage.
Phase Two:
The construction is now underway to build:
- The new Early Childhood Education Center (completed!)
- The Arts and Humanities Center with the new Chapel and Dining Hall (expected completion in early 2009)
- Renovation of the present Cottage and conversion to an Arts Center
for Grades Pre-K through 5 (expected completion by mid 2009)
- Improvements to the parking and traffic patterns on campus will begin this summer
Phase Three:
- New Cultural/Sports Center.
The ultimate goal of the Expansion for Excellence Campaign is to secure our students’ ability to shape their world. With the education they receive at NDA, they can fully participate in the world’s fast-paced atmosphere academically, artistically, athletically and spiritually.
