School Divisions - Elementary
Accreditation & Administration
As a private all girls' Catholic school, Notre Dame Academy is administered by a President and two Principals, an Elementary Principal and a High School Principal. They work together as a team to advance the mission of NDA. Among their responsibilities is the implementation of policies created by a governing Board of Trustees. A handbook of these policies is provided to parents and students.
Accreditation
The Academy holds accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Commission on Elementary Schools. Notre Dame Academy follows the New York State curriculum regulations and the guidelines as outlined in the Essential Learnings developed by the Archdiocese of New York. Within this framework, NDA strives to provide a program, which is authentically Catholic and scholastically challenging.
Students are evaluated annually through the Iowa Test of Basic Skills and the New York State mandated testing.
