Notre Dame Academy carries on the wonderful traditions handed down by our Foundress, while at the same time we strive to have our school be an educational community which will prepare students for all that will be open to them in the future.
It is a comfortable and trusting environment where learning can take place, encouraging students to recognize and appreciate individual differences and develop positive self-images.
6th, 7th, and 8th graders receive instruction in a departmental setting as a final preparation for High School.
The Pre-Kindergarten Program offers a faith-filled, developmentally appropriate environment built on trust, inclusion, affirmation and creativity. It focuses on socialization skills and introduces the girls to the school experience.
The Kindergarten Program introduces the girls to the academic subjects as well as continues development of social skills.

We teach basic keyboarding skills and introduce several educational software programs. Students work on cross-curricular assignments to use research, writing and presentation tools. Upper grades apply these skills to a multi-media presentation project. The computer lab is equipped with 32 student computers, 1 teacher's computer, 2 printers, 2 scanners and a SmartBoard.
Each student has her own computer when working in the lab.
The Science lab has 10 laptop computers for student use, a SmartBoard for instruction and a wireless Internet connection.
In addition to computers for student use, our faculty embraces technology in its lesson planning and teaching strategies. In addition to the computer and science labs, classrooms for grades 3-8 have SmartBoards to enhance daily instruction.
