

As a private all girls' Catholic school, Notre Dame Academy is administered by a President and two Principals, an Elementary Principal and a High School Principal. They work together as a team to advance the mission of NDA. Among their responsibilities is the implementation of policies created by a governing Board of Trustees. A handbook of these policies is provided to parents and students.

Accreditation for Notre Dame Academy was first awarded in 1922 when it received its charter from the New York State Board of Regents. Accreditation from the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges followed in 1949 and has been regularly renewed. The administration and faculty hold memberships and are affiliated with numerous academic organizations.
