
Academic admissions require students to score in the upper third on the TACHS administered by the Archdiocese of New York. In addition, the applicant's record from the elementary school with 6th, 7th and 8th grade marks and standardized test scores are reviewed before a final decision is reached.

Graduates of Notre Dame Academy earn a High School Diploma by satisfactorily completing the studies set forth by the New York State Board of Regents and Notre Dame Academy Board of Trustees. Each graduate is expected to attain a New York State Regents Diploma in addition to a school diploma.
Students have the opportunity to earn college credit or advanced standing while in high school. Qualified students in grades 11 and 12 may enroll in St. John's University Extension Program and earn college credits that are transferable to other colleges.
