Laura Lamantia, Alexandra Lazarra, and Yasmin Mohaideen (Class of 2010) have been awarded National Merit Letters of Commendation.

Victoria Gurrieri (Class of 2010) has been designated a “Shining Star” by the CYO for her community service.

Kaitlin O’Brien (Class of 2010) and Alyssa Scanlon (Class of 2010) have been recognized by Safe Horizons for their back to school back-pack program.

Twenty eight of our students worked with the local Rotary Club under the direction of Ms. Cimino and the interact Club to clean the beach at Gateway National Park on Sunday, October 4, 2009.

Twenty four of our students participated in an Autism Awarness Day with the Grace Foundation on Saturday, October 3, 2009.

At this year’s Fun Run, a number of our students helped in the organization of the event on Saturday, September 26, 2009.

Under the guidance of Sr. Anne Seeley and several of our faculty several of our students spent a week in Tennessee working on a construction project with Habitat for Humanity.

Emily Cecerre (Class of 2011) won a silver medal at the Mid Atlantic Ice Skating Competition.

Four of our ninth graders and one twelfth grader are recipients of scholarships from the Staten Island Federation of Catholic Parents.

Vanessa Hannafin (Class of 2013) is the recipient of the Michael Fiore Scholarship.

Latest news on our teaching staff:

Mr. Stephen Hernon has been appointed as a reader for the Advanced Placement Program in World History and a test question writer for the New State Department of Education.

Our French Club under the direction of Ms. Pinsky was recognized for its contributions to the Doctors Without Borders Program.
