With the approval of the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame Academy, we are very pleased to announce that Ms. Jann Amato has been appointed as the new Principal of Notre Dame Academy High School, effective July 1st, 2019.
Ms. Amato is presently the Assistant Principal at Notre Dame Academy High School, a position she has held since September 2018. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, she held various administrative positions at St. John Villa since 2003. Committed to her own ongoing education, Ms. Amato is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction at St. John's University, and so will continue to bring that love of learning to every aspect of life at NDA. Being an alumna of Notre Dame Academy assures us that she brings the spirit of Marguerite Bourgeoys and Liberating Education to the task of continuously moving Notre Dame Academy High School forward.
We are confident that the combination of Mrs. Jaenicke’s dedication in her new role as President, and Ms. Amato’s passion for educational excellence, Notre Dame Academy will continue to empower its girls and young women to become women of the Gospel, women of academic excellence, women of courage and conviction, and women of transforming leadership.
