Tracey Murray

There is no other year as uniquely vital as kindergarten. Students seek and develop their sense of self-worth. They learn through fun, friendship, and socialization. Notre Dame Academy kindergarten's curriculum includes Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Weekly learning experiences include religion, art, music, physical activity, and technology. Mrs. Murray's kindergarten supports the students’ intellectual and social development. This year she is excited about developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in math and using a literature-based approach to Language Arts.

Other Kindergarten activities include a big sister program throughout the year with an 8th-grade sister, Christmas Play, Mother/Daughter Tea and Parent /Child class trips.

Mrs. Murray loves the NDA community and is proud to be an alumna of our school, along with her two sisters and nieces.

Mrs. Murray and her husband are native Staten Islanders who now reside in Monmouth Beach, NJ. They have two children, Daniel and Cara. Daniel teaches high school English in Newark, NJ, and Cara recently graduated from Loyola University Maryland with an Elementary Education degree. Education and learning is at the heart of their family!
