Donna Bellocchio

Donna Bellocchio began her teaching career in 2006 at Notre Dame Academy High School. She received her B.S.Ed in Adolescent Education Grades 6-12 with a concentration in Social Studies from St.John's University in 2006 and her M.S.Ed in Literacy Grades Grades 6-12 in 2011. While completing her Bachelor and Master's degrees at St.John’s University, Ms. Bellocchio held the position of President of the St.John’s University chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education. 


At Notre Dame Academy High School, Ms. Bellocchio has taught various courses including Global History and Geography, United States History, Sociology, Psychology, Public Speaking, and Advanced Placement World History. She currently holds the position of Department Chair of the Social Studies Department. In addition, she serves as a moderator for two of the High Schools esteemed organizations: Student Government and the National Honor Society. Ms. Bellocchio enjoys engaging the members of both organizations to demonstrate their leadership skills through various activities for the Notre Dame community such as Field Day and a sponsored Blood Drive. 


Ms. Bellocchio is the head coach of the Junior Varsity Volleyball team. She saw the interest in a JV program for the sport and helped to start the JV program in 2006. She most enjoys seeing the improvement in her players throughout their four years in the Volleyball program. Ms. Bellocchio works with both the JV and Varsity teams to foster the ideas of teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
