Notre Dame Academy mourns the loss of Sr. Anne Elizabeth Seeley, CND, beloved Campus Minister for 30 years, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 78.

Sr. Anne

A cherished member of the NDA community, Sr. Anne touched the lives of students, faculty, and staff with her unwavering faith, joyful spirit, and compassionate service. For three decades, she served as NDA's Campus Minister, where she led the Bell Choir, organized retreats, and was instrumental in planning all school liturgies. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and spiritual encouragement, and she could also be found at volleyball and basketball games, cheering on the students she loved so dearly.

Sr. Anne’s ministry extended beyond the NDA campus. She led many mission trips to Appalachia in Tennessee through Habitat for Humanity, and organized meals for Project Hospitality, inspiring countless students to serve others. She was also well-known for her enthusiastic participation in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge, always embodying the values of courage and conviction.

She was a woman of faith, joy, and boundless energy, and her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. One of her most cherished sayings was, "God is Good. All the time. All the time. God is Good," a reflection of her unwavering trust in God's love and goodness.
