Homecoming 2018

On Saturday, October 20th 2018, Notre Dame Academy High School hosted their annual Homecoming event, welcoming home almost 100 women who walked these halls as students. This event is something everyone looks forward to as a way to reconnect with high school friends and return home to where they spent some formative years learning and growing.

This year we celebrated classes ending in “3” and “8” (see more about that here). Our liturgy was led by Father Louis Jerome, whose sister graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1978.

There were 15 current students giving tours to our alumnae along with members of our Alumnae Association Board. The class of 1998 celebrated their 20th anniversary with a memorial brick on Marguerite’s Way.

Odette Buschmann from the class of 1973 won an Afghan lovingly made by Sr. Margaret Giroux, CND.

Killian Clifford, Mission Advancement Director, said, “You could feel the alumnae were happy to reconnect with their classmates and the school-the joy and happiness was palpable about returning home." We are already beginning to prepare for next year’s Homecoming to celebrate graduation years ending in “4” and “9”. Save the date for October 19, 2019!!
