Kerri Paone is the Pre-K 4 teacher at Notre Dame Academy. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College, concentrating on early childhood education and speech communication disorders. Kerri is also a certified Montessori instructor and has pursued numerous certifications in early childhood education, special education, and differentiated instruction.  Earning her Master’s in Education and Technology, Kerri seamlessly integrates technology into the preschool curriculum,  building students’ digital fluency while maintaining age-appropriate boundaries.

Before NDA, Kerri has taught in the universal pre-k setting (UPK), helping community-based programs launch Pre-K For All curriculums. Kerri has attended many workshops to learn and master valuable strategies as an educator, including early childhood yoga, music together, process art for preschoolers, sensory integration, and music and movement.

Kerri combines her passion for Montessori philosophy, technology, and her knowledge of teaching strategies to create a unique but nurturing environment for early learners. In her classroom, children are mentored and encouraged to learn through differentiated materials and activities. They are taught life skills to promote their independence and build confidence. Kerri creates a stimulating environment that nurtures creativity, self-expression and encourages social development. She is ecstatic to take part in the foundational years of future academic endeavors of the girls at Notre Dame Academy.
