Message from the ES Principal
At Notre Dame Academy, achievement is a part of our culture.
Notre Dame Academy has been a leader in the education of girls and young women since 1903, and we are proud of the many noteworthy graduates who serve our community and country.
Our spacious, updated campus provides a beautiful setting for students to develop their talents and abilities in our classrooms, art studio, music room, and Early Childhood Center. At a time when the advantages of single-sex education are being rediscovered, we are proud to be celebrating 119 years as an outstanding school for young women.
We develop leadership and independence and encourage the students to work to their full potential so that they can realize their dreams. At Notre Dame, girls are artists, actors, musicians, mathematicians, writers, scientists, athletes. Their accomplishment is the reason for NDA’s exceptional reputation.
The vibrant and challenging course of study we provide integrates technology as a tool across the curriculum and is steeped in service and learning opportunities. We focus on the traits that are a part of our Catholic identity: compassion, tolerance, and generosity. Here, young women build a strong academic foundation, make lifelong friends, and learn to serve a broader community.
During the pandemic, we did not lose a single day of instruction. We were able to pivot seamlessly by utilizing technology and creating a reopening plan tailored to the needs of our families. We adapted to the changing times and not only protected instruction, but also established ways for our students to interact safely together. Since then, we have been thriving, continually improving our educational programs, campus, and facilities and collaborating on a strategic plan toward an even brighter future. I am very proud of all we have achieved together and am excited for the year ahead.
Come and be a part of the wonderful things that are happening here!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Giaccio, ES ‘87
