Accreditation
Notre Dame Academy of Staten Island received its charter from the New York State Board of Regents in 1917 and accreditation from the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges in 1949. The school has continued to maintain its standards to the requirements of New York State. In 2025, the school renewed its accreditation from the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges.
Notre Dame Academy holds an AI Literacy, Safety, and Ethics Endorsement from the Middle States Association.
RAIL (Responsible AI in Learning) introduces Artificial Intelligence in schools safely, ethically, and innovatively. It provides our student body with a comprehensive framework, tools, and guided implementation customized to align with the values and Mission of Notre Dame Academy.
