Happy Earth Day from Notre Dame Academy! For 50 years, the world has celebrated Mother Earth. Did you know that one of the tenets of the Sisters of the Congregation of Notre Dame is caring for the Earth? We at Notre Dame Academy are also committed to the preservation of our Earth. We conducted an Energy Audit and based on recommendations have upgraded all light bulbs, most windows, and doors, and installed solar panels on the roof of two buildings.
Our students “go green” every day, encouraging each other to use less plastic, to recycle and reuse.
